Privacy Policy
In short: Barn Dressage has no accounts and no advertising. We do not collect, store or sell personal data. Your horse, settings and scores stay on your device. The app sends only anonymous usage statistics that are not linked to you. Game Center and purchases are handled by Apple.
Data we do not collect
- No account, name, email address, phone number or contact list is collected.
- No advertising, tracking or crash-reporting SDKs are included; the only analytics are the anonymous usage statistics described below.
- No location, camera, microphone or photo access is requested.
- Apart from the anonymous usage statistics, the app sends no data to servers operated by us or by third parties. We operate no servers for this app.
Data stored on your device
Saved locally so the app remembers it: your settings and language, your horse and rider and the horse's name, your best marks and game scores, which tests you have watched, learned and finished, your daily plays, and the names you typed when recommending the game to a friend (only so each friend counts once). None of it leaves your device through the app; all of it is removed when you delete the app.
Anonymous usage statistics
To understand which parts of the app are used, the app sends anonymous signals to TelemetryDeck (TelemetryDeck GmbH, Germany): an event name (e.g. ride started, ride finished, subscription screen opened), coarse buckets (e.g. duration 1-3 min, result 65-75%), app version, platform and major OS version, and language. The identity is a SHA-256 digest of a random installation number created at first launch; your name, email, advertising identifier, device identifier or location are never sent, and the data is not combined with other apps or websites for tracking. TelemetryDeck processes the data in the European Union and stores no personal data. In the App Store privacy label this is declared as "Usage Data › Product Interaction, not linked to you, not used for tracking".
Motion sensors
If you choose tilt steering, the app reads the motion sensors to steer the horse. The readings are used on the device in real time and are not stored or transmitted.
Purchases
The Barn Dressage Plus subscription is sold and processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. The app only learns from Apple whether a subscription is active on your Apple ID.
Sharing
"Recommend to a friend" opens the system share sheet with a short text and an App Store link. The app does not send the message itself and does not learn who received it.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children. It has no advertising, no chat and no links to social networks.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new effective date.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Apple's Game Center, your game scores and achievements are submitted to Game Center under your Game Center profile. Game Center is operated by Apple and governed by the Apple Privacy Policy. If you are not signed in, nothing is submitted.
